Vintage YALE Cabinet Lock Brass 4 Lever Security Has 1 Working Original Key

Here I have for sale a very nice hard to find rare vintage Yale brass 4 lever cabinet lock (or small safe lock) complete with 1 working original key which still works the lock perfectly with a nice action. 

This lock is from my personal vintage lock collection and was made by Yale. It dates from around the 1950's era and is in fantastic used condition and looks absolutely super !

THIS IS A 2-WAY LOCK, SO IT CAN BE USED ON LEFT OR RIGHT HAND CABINET DOORS NO PROBLEM.

Please note this lock has a few age related blemishes that is in the brass itself but despite this, this lock still looks great ! and works very well as intended.

This great lock is now a collector's item due to its rarity and its vintage age. It is a rare American style Yale 4 lever brass cabinet lock or small safe lock. 

Please see all 12 pictures and study them carefully as they show the actual lock you are buying and the over all condition that it is in including any marks and imperfections it may have. The pictures also show any relevant measurements that may be needed. 

The measurements of this lock are below:-

Height of this lock is 51 mm.

Width of this lock is 48 mm. 

The distance between the left edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin normally is, is 24 mm.

The distance between the right edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin normally is, is 24 mm.

This lock does not have a hollow ended key and a keyhole pin in the center of its keyhole, this is because it has a solid steel key that the stem of the key goes all the way through the lock when the key is fully inserted.  

The measurements of the lock case part that protrudes is 48 mm wide by  51 mm high. 

The depth of this lock is 10.5 mm.

The total length of the key is 57 mm.  

This is a 2 way lock so can be used accordingly on left handed or right handed cabinet or cupboard doors
