Vintage Door Lock 2 Lever Has 2 original Keys & Keeper RIGHT HANDED DOORS ONLY

Here I have for sale one very nice hard to find 1980's NEVER USED STEEL AND BRASS CONSTRUCTION original CENTURY 2 lever RIGHT HANDED rim lock (double bolt with latch) and 2 working original keys which work the lock perfectly with a nice solid action - THIS LOCK HAS BEEN IN MY PERSONAL COLLECTION OF OLD LOCKS for years HAS NEVER BEEN FITTED - Now downsizing my vintage lock collection so it's now offered for sale. 

Please take note is that the latch bolt on this lock has a very strong STIFF spring ( "Scotch Spring" ) Just like the early Georgian/Victorian locks. Please only buy this lock if you are OK with this.  

BUYER TO NOTE THAT THIS IS A RIGHT HANDED RIM LOCK WHERE THE FACE OF THE LOCK (WHERE THE LOCK DEADBOLT & LATCH BOLT COMES OUT) IS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE  DOOR WHEN LOOKING AT THE DOOR FROM THE SAME SIDE WHERE THE LOCK IS MOUNTED - I.E BEHIND THE DOOR WHERE THE HINGES ARE ON THE LEFT AND THE LOCK IS ON THE RIGHT, AND THE DOOR OPENS INWARDS AND TOWARDS YOU - PLEASE STUDY PHOTO NUMBER 12 IN THIS LISTING FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING LEFT AND RIGHT HANDED DOORS.

This lock is an 1980's era CENTURY surface mounted rim deadlock of a very popular English Victorian design, It is in good working order and in GREAT CONDITION ! 

Please study all the photographs very carefully as they show the actual lock that you will receive and the over all condition that it is in including any marks or imperfections it may have being an "NEW OLD STOCK" lock that is approx 40+ years old now and was never used but had remained in my vintage lock collection for many years.

Please take note is that the latch bolt on this lock has a very strong spring ( "Scotch Spring" ) just like the early Georgian/Victorian locks. Please only buy this lock if you are strong ! and OK with this.

The latch bolt on this lock is also reversible, meaning this lock can be used on RIGHT HANDED doors that open outwards and away from you when looking at the door from the lock side (where the lock is mounted on the inside of the door ON THE RIGHT and the hinges are on the left hand side). As it is set up, it is for a RIGHT HANDED DOOR that has the rim lock mounted on the right hand side and the door opens inwards and towards you.   

This lock has 2 levers and is a secure lock as it also has internal warding where the sides of the key flag must have the same corresponding slots cut out for it to turn inside this lock, if the key does not have this same cut out on both sides of its flag then it simply will not turn full stop.

Measurements for this lock are below:

Size of lock face (on right hand side when looking at the door from the lock side): is 103.5 mm high by 42 mm wide by 1.5 mm in depth.

Over all size of lock (the lock case including the 1.5mm thickness of the front face plate) is: 154 mm long by 102.5 mm high by 24 mm thick. 

The measurement from the front face of this lock to the center of the key hole is 53 mm.

The measurement from the front face of this lock to the center of the door handle spindle hole is 115 mm. 

The keeper measures 105 mm high by 24mm wide by 25mm deep 

The total length of the keys are 109 mm (just over 4.5 inches long)
