Old Antique Box Lock Solid Brass 1 Working Key Rare Victorian 6 Lever Security

Here I have for sale a very rare very nice hard to find low & wide profile Late Victorian era heavy gauge solid brass 6 lever highly secure large box lock or blanket chest lock complete with 1 working period key (which works the lock well) and the original solid cast brass keeper plate.  

This lock is from my personal vintage lock collection and dates from the 1880's era. It is in good working order and excellent used condition and it looks really superb !  

This great lock is now a collector's item due to its vintage age and it's super rarity. 

This is a very nice quality early 6 lever highly secure large box/chest lock from the late Victorian era. 

This lock is in good working order complete with 1 matching period key (non original) and the Original heavy gauge brass keeper plate.

Please see all 18 pictures and study them carefully as they show the actual lock you are buying and the over all condition that it is in including any marks and imperfections it may have. The pictures also show some relevant measurements that may be needed.

The measurements of this lock are below:-

Size of lock top face is 102 mm long by 16.5 mm wide (this is the top side with the two square holes).

Size of lock back plate is 102 mm long by 39.2 mm high. 

The distance between the top edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin is, is 25 mm.

The diameter of the lock case key barrel is 21mm 

The measurements of the lock case that is recessed into the wood and hidden is approx 61 mm wide by 35 mm high by 12.5 mm deep. 

Size of the keeper plate is 102 mm long by 16 mm wide.

The total length of the key is 73 mm.
