Can't find an answer? Ask on the eBid forums.

1) What is feedback?

To the right of every member username is a feedback score. This will help to give you a better insight into the reliability and trustworthiness of the member in question.
The feedback score gives you an insight into remarks made by other members of the community who have been involved in a successful auction with this person previously. The number is based on the amount of positive comments made against negative ones.

Feedback is calculated as one feedback per payment relating to the same auction ID.

For example an auction with 3 Buynows:

If bought 3 and paid with 3 seperate payments = 3 feedbacks.
If bought 3 and paid with 1 payment = 1 feedback.

2) Can I reply to feedback left on me?

Yes. Once feedback has been left the counterparty has the option to reply. The original poster also has the option to edit the initial feedback.

3) When do I leave feedback?

After the auction has ended and the two parties involved have finalised payment and delivery of the goods they are expected to leave feedback on each other. They have the option of leaving either positive, neutral or negative feedback along with any additional comments they have about their dealings with the other member. This will help to give other members of the community an insight into the trustworthiness and reliability of that individual.
We encourage all members to leave feedback.

4) How do I leave feedback?

To leave feedback you need to go to your own eBid login area and click on the "My Feedback" section. There you will be presented with an invitation to leave feedback on members that you have had dealings with.

5) Can I change the text/rating of Feedback I posted previously?

You can edit previously posted Feedback by going to "My eBid" > "My Feedback" (right hand menu) and clicking on the "View/Edit What You've Said" tab - A list of auctions is shown with the comments and ratings shown. If you click on the "Click here to edit" link to the right of the auctions you will be given the opportunity to change the text and/or rating of the feedback.

6) What is the eBid Store icon that's next to user's feedback?

The Store icon shows that the user currently has an eBid Store open and running. Click on the icon to view the eBid Store.

7) What is the AV icon next to users feedback?

The AV icon stands for Address Verified. If you see the icon next to a user's feedback it will mean that their registered eBid post/zip code is the same they have registered with their bank or credit card company. To obtain an AV icon, users can update their registered card for free via the "My Subscription" page of "My eBid". The decision on a match is not one taken by eBid. The decision is made by our banking partners and your card issuer.

For customers who have subscribed using PayPal, for the AV icon to appear, you need to have your details verified with PayPal. A verified member has either added and confirmed a bank account with PayPal or has received approval for a PayPal Plus Credit Card.

8) How can I import my Feedback Rating from other sites?

As long as you have upgraded to GOLD then just visit "My eBid > My Feedback" and click the "Import" tab. You will be asked to place a unique code on your "About Me" page on the other marketplace site you wish to import from.

If you are FREE or SILVER then you will need to upgrade first, go to "My eBid > My Subscription".
