Old Steel Rim Lock RIGHT HANDED 3 Levers Has 1 Working Key SORRY NO KEEPER BIT

Here I have for sale a very nice hard to find STEEL AND BRASS CONSTRUCTION original 1950's era Union 3 lever RIGHT HANDED rim deadlock (single dead bolt with no latch) and 1 working key which works the lock perfectly with a nice solid action.

BUYER TO NOTE THAT THIS IS A RIGHT HANDED RIM LOCK WHERE THE FACE OF THE LOCK (WHERE THE SINGLE BRASS LOCK DEADBOLT COMES OUT) IS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE  DOOR WHEN LOOKING AT THE DOOR FROM THE SAME SIDE WHERE THE LOCK IS MOUNTED - I.E BEHIND THE DOOR WHERE THE HINGES ARE ON THE LEFT, THE LOCK IS ON THE RIGHT AND THE DOOR OPENS INWARDS AND TOWARDS YOU - PLEASE STUDY PHOTO NUMBER 11 IN THIS LISTING FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING LEFT AND RIGHT HANDED DOORS.

This lock is from my personal vintage lock collection and is a Union surface mounted single bolt rim deadlock of a very popular English Victorian design. It is in perfect working order and has satin black paintwork and gleaming polished brass work which looks really super ! with a very cool and classy effect ! 

Again, This lock in very good condition for its age but being an USED, old original lock it may show some obvious signs of use and wear which only adds to its original character! so please bare this in mind before you decide to buy this great ultra rare quality lock and study all the photographs very carefully as they show the actual lock that you will receive and the over all condition that it is in including any marks or imperfections it may have being an old original lock that is approx 70 years old now.

Buyer to note; There is NO KEEPER with this lock. 

This lock has 3 levers and is a reasonably secure lock. It is ideal for internal and external doors such as out houses and some sheds, buyer will need to source a suitable keep if using this lock in certain applications as THERE IS NO KEEPER IS INCLUDED WITH THIS LOCK.

Buyer will need 3 of 50mm (or 8 g x 2") Black Japanned Slotted Round Head Wood Screws to secure this lock to their door (easily found at your local hardware shop or online cheaply)

Measurements for this lock are below:

Size of lock FRONT face (where the single brass deadbolt comes out) on right hand side when looking at the door from the lock side is 105 mm high by 41 mm wide by 1.5 mm in depth.

Over all size of lock (the lock case including the 1.5mm thickness of the front face plate) is: 108 mm long by 105 mm high by 24 mm thick. 

The measurement from the front face of this lock to the center of the key hole is 50.5 mm. 

The total length of the key IS 119 mm (just over 4.5 inches long)
