Old Door Lock RIGHT HANDED 3 Lever, Has 1 Working Key (NO KEEPER PIECE)

Here I have for sale a very nice hard to find superbly refurbished STEEL AND BRASS CONSTRUCTION original 1930's era 3 lever RIGHT HANDED rim deadlock (single deadbolt with no latch) and 1 working key which works the lock perfectly with a nice solid action.

BUYER TO NOTE THAT THIS IS A RIGHT HANDED RIM LOCK WHERE THE FACE OF THE LOCK (WHERE THE LOCK DEADBOLT COMES OUT) IS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE  DOOR WHEN LOOKING AT THE DOOR FROM THE SAME SIDE WHERE THE LOCK IS MOUNTED - I.E BEHIND THE DOOR WHERE THE HINGES ARE ON THE LEFT, THE LOCK IS ON THE RIGHT AND THE DOOR OPENS INWARDS AND TOWARDS YOU - PLEASE STUDY PHOTO NUMBER 12 IN THIS LISTING FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING LEFT AND RIGHT HANDED DOORS.

This lock is from my vintage lock collection and is a 1930's era surface mounted rim deadlock of a very popular English Victorian design, It is in perfect working order with satin black paintwork and brass work which looks really super ! with a very cool and classy effect ! 

Again, This lock in very good condition for its age but being an USED, old original lock it may show some obvious signs of use and wear which only adds to its original character! so please bare this in mind before you decide to buy this great ultra rare quality lock and study all the photographs very carefully as they show the actual lock that you will receive and the over all condition that it is in including any marks or imperfections it may have being an old original lock that is approx 90 years old now.

There is NO KEEPER with this lock. 

This lock has 3 levers and is a reasonably secure lock as it also has some warding where the sides of the key flag must have corresponding slits cut out in order for the key to get past the internal warding and turn inside this lock, If the key does not have the same corresponding slits cut out, then it simply WONT turn.

It is ideal for internal and external doors such as out houses and some sheds, buyer will need to source a suitable keep if using this lock in certain applications as THERE IS NO KEEPER IS INCLUDED WITH THIS LOCK.

Buyer will need 3 of 50 mm (or 8 g x 2") Black Japanned Slotted Round Head Wood Screws to secure this lock to their door (easily found on cheaply) and also a couple of clout nails to secure the deadbolt face side of the lock to the door.

If you would like to use countersink screws instead of nails (to secure the side face of this lock to the door), message me and I can countersink these 2 holes for you free of charge (if wanted) so you don't have to use clout nails !

If I do not receive a message from you (the buyer) asking for the 2 deadbolt side face side fixing holes to be countersunk - then the lock will be posted out to the buyer EXACTLY AS IT IS WITH NO COUNTERSINK SCREW PROVISION on its side face plate where the deadbolt comes out.

Measurements for this lock are below:

Size of lock face (on right hand side when looking at the door from the lock side): is 101.5 mm high by 42.5 mm wide by 1.5 mm in depth.

Over all size of lock (the lock case including the 1.5mm thickness of the front face plate) is: 107 mm long by 101.5 mm high by 22 mm thick. 

The measurement from the front face of this lock to the center of the key hole is 50.5 mm. 

The total length of the key is 105 mm (just a fraction over 4 inches long)

PLEASE STUDY ALL 12 PHOTOS as they form a very big part of the DESCRIPTION in this listing and they show any imperfections that this lock may have as well as they show some of the most relevant measurements that are needed.
