Original 1893 4 1/2 inch x 6 5/8 inch Engraving titled ARUNDEL FROM THE RIVER; SHOWING THE CASTLE, THE PARISH CHURCH, AND THE CATHEDRAL.
From a drawing by George Charles Haité (1855 - 1924). An English designer, painter, illustrator and writer. His most famous work is the iconic cover design of the Strand Magazine, launched in 1891, which helped popularise the Sherlock Holmes stories of Arthur Conan Doyle. Haité was also a founder member and the first president of the London Sketch Club.
