Old Small Box Lock Victorian Brass 1 Lever Has 1 Working Key & Keeper Plate

Here I have for sale a very nice, and very hard to find SMALL Late Victorian era 1 lever box lock complete with 1 working original key which still works the lock very well with a firm spring action.

This lock is also complete with the original cast brass keeper locking plate.  

This lock is from my personal vintage lock collection and dates from the 1880's late Victorian era.

It is in good working order and in excellent used condition. its brass work looks great for its age !  

This great lock is now a collector's item due to its vintage age and it's super rarity, It was probably handmade back in the day with basic hand tools by a skilled lock maker. 

This is a good / reasonable quality 1 lever box/chest lock from the later Victorian era. 

Please see all 17 pictures and study them carefully as they show the actual lock you are buying and the over all condition that it is in including any marks and imperfections it has. The last few pictures also show some relevant measurements that may be needed. 

The measurements of this lock are below:-

Size of lock top face is 50.5 mm long by 8 mm wide (this is the top side with the two square holes).

Size of lock back plate is 50.5 mm long by 18.1 mm high. 

The distance between the top edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin is, is 12.5 mm.

The measurements of the lock case that is recessed into the wood and hidden is approx 27 mm wide by 17.2 mm high by approx 4 mm deep. 

Size of the keeper plate is 49.5 mm long by 7 mm wide.

The total length of the key is 31.5 mm.

I have described this item to the best of my knowledge and this lock is in perfect working order and in fantastic used condition.
