Mighty Avengers Vol. 2 #4.INH – “Spider Hero becomes Ronin”

In this issue, the aftermath of the "Infinity" event has left Earth altered, with the Terrigen Mists released into the atmosphere, triggering transformations in individuals with latent Inhuman DNA. Amidst this backdrop, Jason Quantrell, CEO of Cortex Incorporated, seeks to exploit these changes by commercializing Inhuman abilities. His bodyguard, Barbara "Quickfire," now possesses the power to manipulate time, and Quantrell aims to harness such powers for profit.

Meanwhile, the Mighty Avengers establish their new headquarters at the Gem Theater in New York City. Tensions arise as Spider-Man (Otto Octavius) expresses skepticism about the team's legitimacy, leading to friction with Luke Cage and other members. Concurrently, the mysterious "Spider Hero" consults with the sorcerer Kaluu, seeking guidance on combating emerging threats linked to the Terrigen Mists. Recognizing the need for a new identity to operate more effectively, Spider Hero adopts the mantle of Ronin.

This issue delves into themes of identity, transformation, and the ethical implications of newfound powers, setting the stage for the Mighty Avengers' evolving role in a changed world.

G / Good – heavy wear or age, complete unless noted
