Secret Invasion: X-Men #1 – “Part One”

In this issue, the Skrull Empire initiates its invasion of Earth, targeting San Francisco. Unaware that the X-Men have recently relocated there, the Skrulls are caught off guard when the mutants mount a formidable defense

The X-Men, led by Cyclops, engage the Skrull forces, but the battle intensifies as the Skrulls deploy a psychic barrier known as the "Thought-Wall," which disrupts the mutants' telepathic abilities. During the conflict, Nightcrawler encounters a mysterious sphere carried by a Skrull priest, which attempts to psychically connect with him and convert him to the Skrull religion. The situation escalates with the arrival of Super-Skrulls, engineered to counter the X-Men's powers.

This issue sets the stage for a high-stakes confrontation between the X-Men and the Skrull invaders, blending action with psychological warfare.
