Ford Anglia Car in Bradford 1967, AEC Bus on Nelson Street, Large Photo
Description: This is a large 11"" inch x 8"" inch photo of a period street scene in 1967. A Bradford Corporation Transport AEC Regent, Registration Number 6218 KW heads off from the bus stop at the bottom of Nelson Street, followed by a Ford Anglia and motorbike, with period billboard advertisements of the day including Dairy Box Milk Chocolates and My Fair Lady performing at The Royal.
A Lake Carpets advertisement of Cheapside and Westgate is depicted on the side of the bus. The old Bridge Street Goods Station was on the other side of the billboards and the Bradford bus interchange building now stands where these buses are positioned.
