Booth Bus at Halifax Wards End 1970, Large Photo
Description: This is a Large 12" inch x 8" inch photo of a bus stop scene at Wards End at the top of Horton Street in Halifax in 1970. A 1960 Halifax liveried Leyland Leopard L1 bus with Burlington body, registration 5875W, route 66, destination 'Booth' has stopped away from the pavement bus stop where it is taking on passengers. The bus was originally Sheffield Omnibus, then Hebble, before being taken on as Fleet 305 in Halifax livery. Here it is seen prior to sign written fleet number being applied to front of body.
