Description: This is a Large 12" inch x 8" inch photo of a Southdown bus pulling out of Steyne Gardens on to Marine Parade in Worthing in C1950. The bus is 1954 Guy Arab, Registration GCD975, Fleet number 401, Route 3A, Destination 'Pier, Central Station, West Worthing Station, Shaftesbury Avenue, Maybridge Estate'.
This is when the tennis courts were in the gardens and before the existing building was built to the right of the bus.
An interesting photo of Worthing Steyne Gardens just after the war.
