Antique Gibbons Cabinet Lock Solid Brass Has 1 Working Key Good 4 Lever Security

Here I have for sale a very, very nice hard to find rare vintage Victorian solid brass 4 lever cabinet safe lock (or cupboard lock) complete with 1 working key (I'm not sure if it's the original key or a duplicate key), either way It works the lock perfectly with a very nice silky smooth action (like butter !!).

This lock was made by Gibbons and It has been in my personal lock collection for many years, It dates from the early 1900's Edwardian era. It is in fantastic used condition and it looks absolutely super

This great lock is now a collector's item and is a rare early Gibbons 4 lever solid brass cabinet lock / safe lock. 

Please see all 12 pictures and study them carefully as they show the actual lock you are buying and the over all condition that it is in including any marks and imperfections it may have. The pictures also show any relevant measurements that may be needed. 

The measurements of this lock are below:-

Height of lock back plate is 74.5 mm.

Width of lock back plate is 43.5 mm. 

The distance between the left edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin normally is, is 22 mm.

The distance between the right edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin normally is, is 21.5 mm

This lock does not have a hollow ended key and a keyhole pin in the center of its keyhole, this is because it has a solid steel key that the stem of the key goes all the way through the lock when the key is fully inserted.  

The measurements of the lock case part that protrudes is 43.5 mm wide by  48.5 mm high. 

The depth of this lock is 14.5mm.

The total length of the key is 76.5 mm.
