Vintage 1947 PHILCO Chippendale 1270 Phonograph FM Radio Print Ad Ephemera

This is an Original, Authentic print magazine advertisement that was carefully removed from a 1947 magazine, possibly if any paper was damaged some trim work may have been done to prevent any further damage to these old ads.This ad is about the new at time Chippendale PHILCO 1270 Phonograph player and FM Radio with Electronic Scratch Eliminator that allowed it to play any record old or new without a trace of surface noise or record scratch. The ad shows the player in a room with a beautiful young lady in an evening gown enjoying the sound of it. The backside of the ad also has a very nice ad for 1847 Rogers Bros 100th anniversary silverware which is also an excellent collector's ad and can also be seen in a couple of my photos. The ad is 10.0 inches X 13.50 inches approximately. There may be some minor edge wear or very minor creasing and of course due to its age some normal vintage toning or discoloration. These old ads are perfect for-collectors, historians, musuems, home or business decor or as a very special, intriguing gift to someone. Dont just think of these as old pieces of paper.They are pieces of history showing the changing fashions, architecture,furniture,design aesthetics and much,much more over the course of time. Many of the old ads have detailed information about the product they are advertising and can help with research. Also many of these old ads are very beautiful never to be made like they were again with bold graphics,the details in wording, often drawn and signed by famous artists or the person on the ad became some famous actor, actress or politician.They make excellent substitutes for expensive artwork thus hundreds are bought for that purpose and to preserve something that once they are gone will not be seen again in the world we live in today with all the newer technology, computers or society today would frown on many things said or shown in some of these older ads.You could easily decorate your whole business, house or apartment, man or woman cave with vintage ads for less than the price of one piece of fine art.
