Overall condition is acceptable. Based on the $1.75 cover price, this dates the publication to the late 1970s. First off, this was a former student's (possibly plural as there are two names in the book) novel as there are outlined passages in the text and notes made in the margins. On the plus side, if one needs this book for a class, well...some of the work in highlighting important parts of the story have already been done. The bad part is that because it is a former student book, it has seen its fair share of usage, getting stuffed in a locker, and knocked around in a book bag. As such, review the scans of the front and back covers to check out the extent of the conditions of both covers. The spine has two vertical creases and rather extensive edge wear and so to prevent any further issues, a strip of clear binding tape has been applied to the spine. Interior pages have some discoloration with age.
