Seller's Description
A large, near-mint condition print, measuring 4 1/4 X 6 inches. Only light corner wear shows. Photoed by Fred Szarka, the back reads:
"In 1775, Colonial Militia advancing to protect their town faced British Regulars across the North Bridge and for the first time were ordered to fire on the British. There was no bridge on this site from 1793 until 1875 when the first commemorative bridge was built. Four more were constructed since then, and in 1956 the present bridge was built."
This is card #MM-CD4, printed by Consolidated/Drake Press and an Eastern National Park & Monument Association copyright.
