This Tichnor Quality View, card #71704 and image H-1 is a photo by G.W. Romer. The back informs us:
"Homestead, an attractive little town bordering the Everglades, is visited by road, (U.S. H'way #1) by everyone traveling south over the Overseas Highway to Key West, and by air, (Pan American Airways) the travelers to Cuba and South American ports fly over the thriving community."
Mailed to Dale and David Calkins of Detroit, MI. Mostly clean with some toning and a very light creases on the lower-left corner. No tears. The Bargain Basement of Homestead Hardware can be seen left of center, and the Men's Shop on the far left. How does this compare to today's setting?
