Long thought of as some of the finest recordings for audio quality. This is a circa 1920's label from the Victor Talking Machine Co. (1901-1929) Here is a pair of Victor's "Orthophonic Recordings" featuring the La Scala Chorus, recorded in Milan, Italy at the La Scala Opera House.
This platter is in like-new condition! Rarely will you find a record in such splendid shape. Lots of gloss, no scratches, and clean as a whistle.
Side 79394-A presents, "Faust - Coro dei Soldati (Soldier's Chorus)" - Act 4 , and side 79394-B, "Il Trovatore - Vedi! (Anvil Chorus)" - Act 2. Exceptionally clear and undistorted audio!
