Antique/Vintage, Plymouth Barbershop Harmony Club, Solid Brass Plaque/Sign/Plate - Choir Music
You are looking at a vintage, solid brass, round plaque/sign for the Plymouth Barbershop Harmony Club, a Plymouth based music group founded in 1978 (assuming there isn't another club with the same name). My dad purchased this from a car boot sale over 20 years ago as I recall and now it needs a new home.
The plaque/sign looks like it was cast, has a casting of a young woman or girl in traditional dress holding what I assume is a hymn book of some sorts. Around the edge of the plaque in a bordered section, the words Plymouth Barbershop Harmony Club are cast. Please note that this plaque is made from solid brass and weights over 2kg.
In excellent condition, as per the pictures. Some parts are smoother than others from where they have been repeatedly polished.
