Sevenoakes old Maidstone Road Sign & Horse Trough 1983, Large Photo
Description: This is a New Large approx 11"" inch x 8"" inch colour photograph of 'French's Dairy' Retail Shop, and which operated from 156 London Road and pictured here in June 1989. The French's Dairy retail shop front was situated on the corner of the junction of the B2020 St Botoephs Road and the A224 London Road, and which is now a Funeral Directors, with the actual adjoining Dairy now being a Tool Hire store.
This photo also depicts the old Maidstone Road Sign and the old horse drinking trough which was used by the horses which would pull the coaches to an from the London route and Maidstone route. There is also a French's Dairy liveried 1975 Bedford TK Lorry parked up outside the dairy.
