Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1977 Paolo & Vittorio Taviani Drama PADRE PADRONE, based on the book by Gavino Ledda and starring Fabrizio Forte, Omero Antonutti, Saverio Marconi, Marcella Michelangeli, Marino Cenna, Nanni Moretti, Stanko Molnar, Gavino Ledda, Pierluigi Alvau, Giuseppino Angioni and Fabio Angioni.
The story concentrates on a Sardinian shepherd boy, who lives under the thumb of his peasant father. Rescued from his family when called for military service, the boy emerges as a brilliant scholar.
The Poster art is by Paul Derrick.
