Original 1946 Danish 24 1/2 inch x 33 1/2 inch Poster for the 1943 Rene Le Henaff French Drama COLONEL CHABERT, based on the novel by Honore de Balzac and starring Raimu, Marie Bell, Aime Clariond, Jacques Baumer and Fernand Fabre.
The story of a French officer who is assumed dead during the Napoleonic Wars, but returns ten years later to a very different France, both on a political and personal level.

The poster is in good to very good unfolded (rolled) condition with a Danish "Statens Filmcensur" censor ink stamp in one corner and a small patch of slight discoloration in the center right edge.
