The leaflet shows a bombed-out Berlin. Printed next to the photograph are the famous lines from Goethe's poem ‘The Sorcerer's Apprentice’: “Oh Lord! The distress is great! The spirits that I summoned, I now cannot rid myself of again.”
Authenticated by Klaus Kirchner, with his hand stamp in the lower right corner. - Rubbing, creasing and soiling, remnants of mounting tape to corners, fair only.
