Code G.43 [1942] - Kirchner 4, 88. - Punched hole for dissemination by balloon.

“Hitler’s thoughts on the necessity of the Waffen-SS. The drawing on the leaflet title page, showing the Germans what the British thought SS-persons looked like, could have been counterproductive" (Klaus Kirchner).

This leaflet was produced in two versions: one featuring parts of the text on the reverse highlighted in red, as seen in the present copy, and another without any highlights.

Some rubbing, creasing and foxing, minor edge-wear, a couple of corners dog-eared, previously folded in quarters. Authenticated by Klaus Kirchner, with his verification hand stamp on the verso.
