The leaflet refutes in detail the so-called Dolchstoßlegende (= Stab-in-the-back-myth), a widely-believed conspiracy theory in Germany after World War One. It compares the situation at the end of 1918 with the situation at the end of 1943 and concludes: ”For the second time, Germany is on the brink of the abyss. Will it once again pull itself back at the last moment? Or will it this time cross the "magic threshold" - into oblivion?  Time is running out. The clock moves inexorably forward. It is three quarters of twelve.”
