Old Cupboard Cabinet Lock Steel & Brass Has 1 working key 2 Lever Dated 1965

Here I have for sale a really nice hard to find smaller size antique 1960's steel and brass 2 lever cabinet lock (or cupboard lock) complete with 1 working key works the lock very well with a nice action.

This lock is from my personal vintage lock collection, it is stamped (I think) "BANKS & RIGHTON  UQ" (see photo 09) FOLLOWED BY 1965 FOLLOWED BY "WILLINHALL" at the top and stamped with "SECURE 2 LEVER" at the bottom. It dates from the mid 1960's era and is in nice used condition and looks stunning with its clean antique steel look complimented with the brass bolt which gives a nice two tone effect !

This great lock is now a semi collector's item due to its antique age and is a good quality well made 2 lever steel and brass construction cabinet lock. It is perfect for that small vintage cabinet or cupboard where a similar lock may be not working or missing !

This lock has a 2 way bolt, so it can be used accordingly on left and right handed cupboard doors with no problem.

Please see all 12 pictures and study them carefully as they show the actual lock you are buying and the over all condition that it is in including any marks and imperfections it may have. The pictures also show relevant measurements that may be needed. 

The measurements of this lock are below:-

Height of lock back plate is 55.5 mm.

Width of lock back plate is 32 mm. 

The distance between the left edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin is, is 16 mm.

The distance between the right edge of this lock to the center of where the key hole pin is, is 16 mm

The measurements of the lock case part that protrudes is 30 mm wide by 37.5 mm high. 

The depth of this lock is approx 10mm - 11 mm.

The total length of the key is 55 mm.

I have described this item to the best of my knowledge and this lock is in perfect working order and in fantastic used condition.
