Original Belgian 14 1/2 inch x 21 1/2 inch Poster for the 1972 Luchino Visconti Drama LUDWIG starring Helmut Berger as King Ludwig II of Bavaria, Trevor Howard as Richard Wagner, Silvana Mangano as Cosima Von Bülow, Gert Fröbe, Helmut Griem, Izabella Telezynska, Umberto Orsini and John Moulder-Brown.
One of the last masterpieces by Italian filmmaker Luchino Visconti, Ludwig is the dark and tormented portrait of King Ludwig II of Bavaria, an eccentric esthete who ruled from 1864 to 1886.
The poster is in very good unfolded (rolled) condition.
