Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1978 François Truffaut Drama THE GREEN ROOM (LA CHAMBRE VERTE), based on the novel by Henry James and starring François Truffaut, Nathalie Baye, Jean Dasté, Jean-Pierre Ducos, Monique Dury, Jane Lobre, Jean Pierre Moulin, Antoine Vitez and Patrick Maleon.
Truffaut casts himself as the 1920s provincial journalist (an obituary writer) looking back on the death of his friends in World War 1. The Green Room is his candle-lit shrine to the dead.
