Arlington Bus at Ashford Station Road 1976, Large Photo
Description: This is a Large 12" inch x 8" inch photo of a East Kent bus pulling in to the bus stop just before the exit of the old Ashford bus station in Station Road in 1976. The bus is 1964 AEC Regent V, Registration AFN780B, Fleet number -, Route 501, Destination 'Arlington and Town Centre'.
The main building in the photo has been demolished and another building erected in it's place, but if you look on street view in 2009 you will see this building is still there.
For present day context, the Ashford Baptist Church is out of shot on the left, and 'Stourside Place' is just out of shot to the right of where the old ladies are stood in the photo.
