apparrantly there are no postcards on the market of the David T as Dr who as the licences for doing them are to expensive, if anyone no's different please let us no, the previous drs have many cards of but not D.t. think they would have sold ok
prehaps they will bring some out of the new one , Nigel has recorded it & we will watch it in the week.he does seem to me in the trailers not to have the appeal.

When I used to sell toys, I had a load of those voice changing machines.
On the lid of the box - it stated the item would make your voice sound like a dalek amongst other things.
I used that in the item description.

It got removed - the BBC own the word ''dalek'' apparently, and they got it removed.

I thought it was reasonable given that I wasn't expecting Smith to be any good at all. I expect he will develop and put his own brand on the role as every Doctor before him has. New Doctors are always slated as not as good as the one they replaced but you soon forget the one before.

Liked his new sidekick. Looked nice in that short skirt. She could arrest me anytime (or give me cardiac arrest).

Was a bit thrown off scent at the start when I thought his new sidekick was going to be a little girl. Would have been interesting to see how they would have worked that. Though, of course, he would instantly have been branded a paedophile.

    Agree...hated the new theme arrangement.

I thought it was good, quirky fun.

The new Doctor might not have the looks of DT but I thought the whole reinvention was great (the food scene was hilarious, him getting to know himself at the same time as us was clever and the new assistant isn't too shabby either ).

I didn't think the storyline was all that strong but I guess this one was mainly about us meeting the new Doctor and assistant and for that I'd give it a B+. Hoping for some A+ episodes to come.

P.S. I've seen some previews of the upcoming episodes and Steven Moffat seems to have some sort of "fang fetish" when it comes to baddies (he must hate the dentist as much as me ).

Not over impressed, it might grow on me as it continues. DT is going to be an hard act to follow.

I wholeheartedly agree. I also loved Louise Jameson as Leela. Haven't seen the new one's short skirt, but can it be any shorter than Leela's skins.

Anyone care for a Jelly Baby?
