3) How can I see if I owe any money to eBid and what I have been invoiced for?

All over eBid you will see the "My eBid" login button at the top of the page. If you click on that and then enter your username and password you will be able visit the "My Fees & Invoices" section to view your current and previous monthly statements and invoices issued to you. These will list all your listing fees, final value fees and any other costs incurred.

4) How do I pay for monies owed?

When you upgrade your account to selling status to either SILVER or GOLD the card used at the time of upgrade will be used to pay for any debits to your eBid account at the beginning of every calendar month.

If you used PayPal to upgrade then you will need to pay your monthly invoices via PayPal also, view the "eBid Invoices" tab on the "My Fees & Invoices" page and you will see a button that takes you to PayPal to initiate payment.

An invoice or statement will be issued and emailed on the 1st of each month for the previous month's fees. We will attempt to collect payment at this time. If this collection fails we will re-try later in the month.

You may cover an unpaid invoice at any time using Paypal by going to "My eBid" > "My Fees & Invoices" and clicking on the "My eBid Invoices" tab. You will see the Paypal payment button if an unpaid invoice is due.

5) What payments do you accept?

We accept PayPal, Visa, Maestro, Delta, Mastercard, Diners Club and Eurocard. Upgrade your account by adding your card now.
We do not accept cheques/checks, money orders or any form of postal payments. If you require alternative payment methods please contact us as below.

6) UK VAT. Does eBid charge me VAT on fees?

eBid is a VAT registered Company in the UK. We do not charge customers extra VAT on fees. eBid incurs the standard VAT fee for UK registered users.

For sellers outside of the UK who would like more information on VAT, please find UK Governmental guidance below:

VAT Registration Threshold for Non-Established Taxable Persons.

The VAT registration threshold for non-established taxable persons was removed from 1st December 2012. These businesses are required to register as soon as they make any taxable supplies of any monetary value, or have reason to believe that they will soon be making taxable supplies in the UK.

On the 1st December 2012 new rules took effect determining when a business which makes taxable supplies in the UK, but has no establishment in the UK, has to register for VAT. From the 1st December 2012 non-UK established businesses can no longer benefit from the UK VAT registration threshold and have to register and account for VAT on their taxable supplies in the UK, irrespective of their value. This follows a decision (Schmelz C-97/09) in the European Court of Justice and further information can be found in VAT business Brief 31/2012. The UK inserted Schedule 1A to the VAT Act 1994 via Schedule 28 Finance Act 2012.

7) How can I update my registered card?

Visit the "My Subscriptions" section of My eBid to update your registered card details. There is no cost for updating your registered card.
