Fully hallmarked for London with the leopard head, sterling silver with the lion passant, date letter (F) circa 1881 and the duty paid mark.

Makers mark w B j for Walter & John Barnard of Barnard & Sons.

Measures approximately 14 cm x 2.8 cm and weighs 21.9 grams which is quite heavy for it as a teaspoon which falls into the category for a child’s feeding spoon or christening set spoon.

Monogrammed AFJB to the handle.
