The Sirius First Passenger Steamer to cross the Atlantic 1837. early 20th C. PC

This is an original vintage postcard from early to mid 20th C. The image shows The 703-ton side-wheeler Steam Ship Sirius built by William Fairbairn in Millwall. It was the first passenger steamship to cross the Atlantic using only steam. Publisher WHITE STAR LINE Published in 2 Series 6 in a Series. "BRITAIN'S BULWARKS". From time of ALFRED THE GREAT to present. Size 140 x 88 mm. It is in Excellent condition for age, see scans (which clearly show ALL edges). For protection it will be posted in an acid free plastic sleeve in a "Do not bend" card backed envelope. Elec00Sca watermark is NOT on item.
