Stunning George III fiddle neck sterling silver nips or tongs.

Fully hallmarked with George III duty paid mark, lion passant for sterling silver and date letter (U) for Exeter 1816.

Makers mark is rubbed so sadly unreadable.

Measure approximately 15cm in length x 1.6cm widest width and weighs a lovely 32.1 grams.

Gorgeous very desirable late George III period nips or tongs with a fiddle neck design and great form. Good clear hallmarks for discretion though sadly the makers mark is rubbed which is commensurate of the age these being amazingly 204 years old to date. Collectors and enthusiast's alike will love these and therefore would make a fantastic gift or why not spoil yourself and impress guests with these fabulous George III fiddle neck sterling silver nips.
