Hello Alfi66, I'm new on eBid and am keen on maybe a dozen of your postcards like this one - apologies but does it work similar to eBay? Should I just hit BUY on each one and let it compile a Basket for me (with you then doing an invoice with combined postage) Or should I send you my own list of the items wanted? Cheers - Lee

Hi Lee just hit buy on each one, and when you have finished do not pay for them wait for or ask me for an invoice, then wait for invoice and then pay. All the best Alf.

OK trying to do this but have run onto slight problem - seems eBid won't allow me to buy more than 10 items (possibly as its going to be my first transaction on the platform) However, I'm looking at buying 56 different postcards @ 50p each from you! So it looks like I'm going to have to do them 10 at a time + 6, and thus I will seemingly get charged 6 lots of postage - are you able to credit most of it back to me? I am intending to pay via PayPal...

Hi Lee, sorry I did not know that there was restrictions on the quanity that you were allowed. On the amount of cards that you are wanting I would like to send them recorded delivery, I will be able to refund you any excess that you pay through your paypal account, I do not wish to earn anything from the postage. OK I'll carry on as you suggest, but looks like Recorded Delivery ie 'Signed For' 2nd Class will cost just under £3, so can you confirm the total postage charge I'll end up paying will be no more than that please?

Sorry Alf, update: it wont let me add any more items until I've actually paid the first Invoice - this is the message I've received: Maximum BuyNow Purchases Made Small Problem : You have one or more items that are currently unpaid including SEASIDE COMIC POSTCARD BY TROW NUMBER 11902 PUBLISHED BY BROOK PUBLISHING (1436). You'll be unable to use BuyNow on any other listings until payment is received. This is a security measure to ensure a safer trading environment for all on eBid and is only in place for first time buyers on eBid.

Hi Lee, I really sorry did not understand that you would be restricted, it does not look like I will be able to send 26 cards anyway but they would be a large letter I am guessing the weight but the postage if I am right would be £3.90. Have not yet received a request for an invoice. Are they only letting you buy 1 card.All the best Alf.

I complied 10 cards @ 50p each, and requested an Invoice (but did not hit the BUY button as you advised) Trouble is, I agree, it seems its only recording one "purchase" at the mo. Let me try the Buy button, what's the worst that can happen eh LOL Why do they make it so complicated!

Hi Lee, I am really at a loss with this, I have not had an invoice request or any payment, the only thing I can suggest is that you purchase 1 card and pay for it, and try to purchase the rest to-morrow. Alternatively contact e-bid All the best Alf.
