Robert Holt Post WW2 Cammell Laird British Ship Vintage Photo

zx153-6 This has come from a collection of vintage shipping postcards and photos - this is a vintage character photo undated approx 5.5" x 3" that appears circa 60+ years ago origin photo from a shipping dealer of the decade with his official frank on reverse for authenticity in mint condition. 

The "Robert L. Holt" must be one of the few deep sea British ships built post-WW2 with a counter stern. Completed by Cammell Laird in 1946 she was the last ship built for John Holt & Co., of Liverpool, to the company's traditional style. 3,818 grt, 391.2 x 52.8 x 20.8 feet she was powered by a triple-expansion steam engine with exhaust turbine to give about 12 knots. In 1962 she was broken up in Belgium.
