You are looking at a very rare, vintage and highly collectible, heavy cermaic/stoneware stein/tankard made by Schultheiß (I think) in Germany. Has the words ""Echt Bayerifch, Schultheiß Bräu"" on it which according to the interweb, translates to
"Real Bavarian Schultheiß Beer"
Was a gift but selling as I need to downsize the amount of stuff I own. In regards to the age, I believe this to have been made in the 1930's. As this stein seems to be very rare, bordering on unique, I compared it to other steins online of similar construction from other makes to get this age. PLEASE NOTE, that is only my best guess.
As mentioned, this stein seems to be very rare as I could not find another one like it from the same makers for sale anywhere. Would make a great decoration or of course, you could drink from it. It looks like it would be epic for quaffing. Also a great present for attendees of fans of the epic Oktoberfest festival.
Apart from one slight chip on the base at the front, the overall condition is excellent. Please see the advert pictures.
