*RARE* 1893 "CLOISTER LIFE IN THE DAYS OF COEUR DE LION" ANTIQUE BOOK (P7)

Great *RARE* antique large 1.3kg hardback book from 1893 by Reverend H D M Spence (Dean of Gloucester) on cloister life in the days of coeur de lion covering places such as Lincoln, Bury St Edmunds, Tewkesbury, Evesham as well chapters on Osric, King of Northumbria and La Grande Chartreuse. Contains illustrations throughout. Photo 4 shows the lovely gold gilt page edges on top of the book. Photo 24 shows pencil writing from a previous bookseller on an initial page. Binding and other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 132 years old. 

Measures 28.5cm tall x 19.5cm wide x 3cm thick. Weighs 1.3kg.
