His easy acquaintance with the beau monde led to friendships with such widely different personalities as Lord Lucan, Dominick Elwes, Lady Charlotte Curzon, John Aspinall, Mark Birley, Henry Ford II, Frank Sinatra, Stavros Niarchos, The Aga Khan and Robert Sangster to name just a few. A thoroughly enjoyable read for the racing and betting man.
