Single Size Murphy Bed Plans DIY Hideaway Vertical Wall Bed Building Project. The plans for this Single Sized Murphy Bed includes a Material list. For a twin mattress size. This is designed so that you do not need to buy an expensive metal frame. You build everything yourself. I absolutely love this design. I have one in my office to be used by guests when they come. I have 6 of these in my cabin. It is great, they look good when they are folded up and at night, I have an extra 6 beds that can pop out when I need them without taking up space during the day. I even have one in my ice fishing shack!

All plans are designed by Ben Stone. Ben is a retired Engineer in Canada. Ben also drafts these himself using the latest AutoCAD software to ensure accuracy. He studied Engineering back in the early 1980's. After over 30 years in the Construction industry he developed a passion for building cool items around his farm and cabin.
