829-25 This is a vintage real photo postcard undated but would appear circa 1920s origin or earlier, of a Midland Railway Class 4-4-0 No 1757 train known as the Beatrice - It is unique for two reasons ... 1) It was one of only two Midland Railway trains to be given a name (the other was the Princess of Wales) ... 2) it had a very large boiler... The postcard is genuine real photo postally unused but full identification notes on reverse lightly aged and small faults but very good and mostly great condition my grading vg++ but mostly ex minus
