This book summarizes the results of long-term observations of the population of coastal villages of the Techa River exposed to chronic radiation exposure. The population of coastal villages, numbering more than 28,000 people, has been exposed to multi-year combined radiation exposure caused by both external gamma radiation and internal radiation exposure at the expense of Sr-90. The unique long-term observations and studies described in this book allow for a better understanding of the possible effects of chronic radiation exposure on humans at a wide range of doses.
