Khizhinskiy In 1922-1927, he studied at the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Arts in Petrograd-Leningrad, where he studied with V.M. Konashevich and D.I. Mitrokhin. In 1939, he traveled to the Caucasus, Tarkhany and Serednikovo, where he made sketches that enabled him to create a series of xylographics of the views of these places (16 V; IRLI museum).
