The caption reads "Landing over a jump, Mr David Allen's four year old colt JAMESMEAD with jockey COLIN BROWN in the saddle. The chestnut horse was sired by Import out of Cathy Jane and is trained by David Elsworth at Whitsbury."

Jamesmead won the valuable Schweppes Gold Trophy at Newbury in 1988 for trainer Mick Channon and helped to put him on the map as a top class trainer.
