• General Comments: This is a snapshot of all the scientific bodies in the world in Jul 1989 holding agreed archives of geophysical data about the Earth, and Solar/Space Weather data. It is not an exciting read for most people, but might be useful for those who study climate change, terrestrial magnetism, seismic data, aurora, sunspot numbers, and conditions in space between the Earth and the Sun. At least you know where you need to look for non-digitized data that exists prior to 1989. It also shows how much international collaboration there was in the 1980’s between many different countries in the world. This report also might be of interest for somebody who used to work at one of these data centers as a nice souvenir.
