We are professional booksellers who trade over many selling platforms therefore we price our stock for retail sale and use the same prices over all the selling platforms for items of the same grade. We are selling secondhand books and buyers must expect that there will be wear commensurate with the age of the items. All pages are there and the books are readable.. Many of the items that we are now listing are excess stock purchased from Charities over 20 years ago which have been stored unopened in boxes and we have in excess of 150,000 items to list. Regretfully due to the way Royal Mail uses size as well as weight to price their services most paperback books now fall in the Small Parcel Category which means we have had to increase our postage charges to cover this. We had hoped that a mix of different size books would get our average costs to the figures we initially set but this has not happened and we have had to adjust in line with our average costs.
