Supplies Needed for “Mini Puffs” Cluck, Qink & Moo

Note: the characters pictured are made with WoolFelt by National Nonwovens, it has wool added, when you pre-wash it, it gets a great texture, kinda puffy. The colors given below are for WoolFelt used in front cover. You can also use plush fabrics, even regular felts.

* Measurements below are figured for 36” wide felt, if 72” wide, deduct 1/8 yd. to each felt measure below.

Hen
5/8 yd. for body, head, neck ring & wings, color White
One square felt for legs & beak, color Old Gold
One square felt for comb & wattles, color Barnyard Red
One chenille stem for legs

Pig
½ yd. felt for body, head, ears, muzzle, arms, legs & tail, color Wheat Fields
One square felt for hooves, color Clay
1/8 yd. fabric for scarf (makes several) and a small flower
One chenille stem for tail

Cow
½ yd. felt for body, head, ears & tail, color Straw
¼ yd. felt for arms, legs, ears & spots, color Black
One square felt for muzzle, hooves & horns, color Beige
Neck tie – ¾” x 15” piece of fabric & one cow bell approx. 1”

Miscellaneous stuff for all characters
Eyes - Two 4mm beads w/holes. Threads to match fabrics. Black embroidery floss. Long needle 2” - 3”. Stout string such as crotchet or kite for gathering. Good quality stuffing, we use & recommend Fairfield’s 100% premium polyester fiberfill. Fairfield’s Poly-Pellets 2/3 cup (per body) or cat litter for weight, this is optional. Glue gun/glue sticks. Powder blush for cheeks. Disappearing marker for tracing. White tracing pencil for black felt.

Instructions: 1 page (1 sheet) 8½” x 11” (21.6 x 28 cm) (folded in half).
Pattern pieces: Several loose pieces most of which have been cut out.
Front & Rear cover
Ziplock bag: 9¾” x 6” (24.8 x 15.2 cm)
