Ts200 Beautiful 1990s postcard featuring Borovets which is a town on the northern slopes of Bulgarias Rila Mountains. Its the gateway to numerous ski and snowboard runs on Rila National Parks craggy Musala Ridge. Cycle routes crisscross the alpine landscape. Footpaths lead through rocky outcrops and valleys to the 7 high-altitude Musala Lakes, including glacial Icy Lake. Just north, kayaks and other leisure boats ply the Iskar Reservoirs calm waters.  This postcard shows people doing daredevil tourist things in Bulgaria during the 1990s incl skiing, chair lifts, and a man falling from the air with a balloon used and small corner fraying otherwise outstanding condition locally published and sent from Bulgaria from the era too
