Fabulous early Victorian solid silver sugar tongs.

Fully Hallmarked for Exeter, date letter 'D' c.1840 and Victoria bust duty mark.

Makers mark J F for Joseph Fulton out of Bristol.

Measure approximately 15cm and weighs 49.7grams.

Lovely weight and size to these very tactile and functional sugar tongs which are 178 years old and still look and feel just amazing a really good sugar tongs suitable for any household.
